HVV and Associates LLC, Principal, Tony Traub

Tony Traub, has over 30 years of real estate development leadership experience, from deal structuring and capitalization through design, construction and operations.

Until 1998, Tony was President and CEO of American Nevada Corporation, a Las Vegas-area-based community development company which developed the master-planned communities of  Green Valley, Green Valley Ranch and Seven Hills.  The three communities, located on approximately 9,500 acres, are home to more than 25,000 residential units.  With annual sales at approximately 2,000 houses per year, the projects were some of the fastest selling in the United States. Over the period of Tony Traub’s tenure, the company also developed several million square feet of commercial projects, including hotels, office buildings, retail centers and rental apartments.

Tony started his own group of companies in 1998, forming Garfield Traub Development LLC. Headquartered in Dallas, Garfield Traub has become a national commercial developer of both governmental facilities and convention center hotels.  Development projects include office, courthouse, training, and educational facilities throughout the United States. Services cover all aspects of development, including, marketing, entitlements, capitalization, strategic planning, organization, construction management and asset management.  The company is currently developing projects in California, New York, Texas, Michigan, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Kansas.

Tony Traub is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the School of Business at the University of Michigan, and he received a Juris Doctorate degree from the School of Law at the University of California at Los Angeles. He is both an attorney and C.P.A.

Mr. Traub’s responsibilities as developer of The Park at Horizon Ridge include leadership of design–builder relationships, supervision of the design and construction process, including design, programming and value engineering input and oversight, as well as negotiation of project documents and agreements.
